Entries for une[art]hed 2023 have now closed.
Artworks are to be delivered to the Memorial Hall, Gulgong
between 8am and 5pm on Monday 5 June.

Opening night - with prize giving - will be held from
6-8pm on Friday 9 June.
Works will be on display between 10am and 4pm Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June.

Artworks are to be collected between 4-6pm Sunday 11 June (unless arrangements for return posting have been made).

We encourage artists to reflect on the theme “unearthed”. What have you found, dug up, uncovered, revealed in these recent trying years? What has been brought to light, or made public? What feelings have been brought to the surface? This theme lends itself to historical, political and personal interpretation and much more.

This year we are accepting entries in any 2D or 3D still media including (but not limited to) watercolour, oil, pastel, acrylic, textiles, drawing, sculpture, pottery and photography.

Moving works such as video, animation or anything requiring power will not be accepted.

All entries will be judged according to how they address the year’s theme and prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
